Remote control systems

Data Process AS delivers systems for remote control of propulsion. These include equipment for controlling engines, gear and propellers or water jets from maneuver positions in engine control room and bridge.

Systems like these also often include safety shotdown systems, that is: automatic stop and disconnection of propellers when critical errors on engine, gear, etc. occur. These systems take care of the various modes that are current on the different installations. Some of the systems are communicating and taking care of integration with for example systems for Dynamic Positioning (DynPos).

As we are also a supplier of speed governors for diesel engines, we have delivered systems that include this.
